Ye x Drake [Free Larry Hoover]

Art Direction and Print Design for Ye x Drake: Free Larry Hoover, a landmark performance that transformed the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum into a monumental live spectacle of fog, light, and scale. The event marked the reunion of Ye and Drake on a single stage, becoming a cultural moment long before audiences ever entered the venue.

Ye’s central scenic concept, The Mound—a 200-foot-wide earthwork inspired by natural forms—was realized through PHNTM’s production and creative teams, led by creative director Niklas Bildstein Zaar. Built in just 18 days, the production reshaped over a million square feet of the Coliseum with a 300,000-pound concrete foundation, 5,000 pounds of dry ice, 700 lights, and 72 projectors illuminating the performance.

The result was a vast, elemental environment that blended architectural minimalism with atmospheric grandeur, delivering an iconic stage for a global audience and a live crowd of 69,000.
